No we specialise in management and lettings only, this way we can focus solely on our clients needs
Are you part of a national company?
No, we are an independent family run business only offering property management and lettings in our local area, this way you get dedicated attention from us in an area that we fully understand and invest in ourselves.
Why should we switch or use Wise Owl Property?
There are many reasons but aside from our knowledge, communication, expert advice, proven track record & in-house maintenance & overall unrelieved service there are two main reasons:
1) We are landlords ourselves, we understand things from your perspective and sympathise fully with the frustration of finding honest & reliable people to care for your property. both with the repairs and the day to day dealings. Owning a large portfolio for over 10 years means that over the years we have experienced and dealt with all the frustrations you have.
2) We are an independent letting agent whose ambition is not for rapid growth but rather to grow our company slowly and organically through positive recommendations, furthermore we have set a realistic limit for our growth and since we feel larger agents often dilute their focus by expansion we have no desire to exceed that limit.
My property is currently managed by another agent, how do we switch?
This is very common practice and is a lot easier than you may think.
More and more landlords are finding out that their current agent simply isn’t delivering on the service they promised. you can be assured that our service is upheld by more than just fancy words on a website, we put into practice everything we promise and much more.

Are you VAT registered?
No we are not VAT registered, as investors ourselves we are aware of the implications with VAT that’s why we have purposely limited the growth of our management company and structured the maintenance company accordingly so that we can offer a more cost effective and personal approach to our service. This way we can ensure that our clients receive the highest possible return on their investment

Yes we have a tenant find service – you will find all the information relating to this in our services section at the top of the page.
Where are you based?
We are based in Newton Aycliffe, Co Durham which is located a few miles outside of Darlington. although most of our lettings are in and around Darlington itself we do have a number of properties in Newton Aycliffe and the close surrounding areas
I have properties out of your service area, would you manage them?
We would always advise our clients to approach a letting agent who is local to the area in which their properties are located. In our opinion it is vital to have good reliable people that you trust and have had a long relationship with in order to efficiently manage the house, we feel that this can not be maintained properly managing out of our service area. so in essence our answer would be no, unless there were special circumstances surrounding the request.
